Guides for UK players

These guides answer questions that only exist in Britain: why a slot here has no autoplay or bonus buy, whether your online play can reach your credit file or a mortgage application, and what the Gambling Commission's rules say about getting your money out. Each one names the regulator's or agency's page it relies on and the date we read it.

Great Britain regulates online gambling more closely than almost anywhere else. The Gambling Commission writes technical standards that decide how fast a slot can spin and what a cashier page may offer, and the government sets stake limits by regulation. Those rules explain most of the differences British players notice, and most of the questions they bring to a site like ours.

The guides below are written by our UK editor from primary sources: the Commission's standards, its statistics and public statements, GOV.UK, and the help pages of the organisations that hold data about you. They explain the rules; they do not tell you where to play.

Every guide follows the same pattern. It opens with a short answer, then sets out the rule or the figure behind it with a link to the page we read and the date we read it, and it says plainly what we could not confirm. Where a rule has a start date, we give it; where something is still being rolled out, we say what has been announced and what has not. If a rule changes, the guide is updated and its date moves with it.
